It wil be a day of fun, education, music, food, local artists, and the 28th Annual Upper Yough Downriver Race.

YRWA meetings are held on the forth Tuesday of every other month begining Febuary at 7:00 p.m in the Center for Adventure & Outdoor Studies at Garrett College in McHenry, Maryland.

 


There are many ways that you can become involved with our mission to promote, enhance, and restore the Youghiogheny River watershed. We hope that you will join us in any of the following ways.

  • Become a member of the YRWA and attend our meetings. We have informative speakers present information regarding our watershed at almost every meeting.
  • Volunteer at the Yough River Festival to help raise money.
  • Volunteer to help with our projects.
  • Make a tax-deductible donation.
  • Donate useful equipment or services.
  • Be a good steward of our valuable water resource.
  • Spread the word; educate your friends, neighbors, and community on how they can help.
